In our first few sessions, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll go at your pace. The most important part early on is building a relationship that feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in mutual respect.
As therapy continues, sessions may include conversation, skill-building, mindfulness exercises, or deeper trauma processing depending on your goals and needs. I’ll offer structure and support, but we’ll shape the work together. My approach is always client-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship.
No two sessions are exactly alike, but you can expect consistency, care, and space to be exactly where you are—without judgment.

No. We do not currently have any providers who have the ability to prescribe psychiatric medication. If you are looking for medication management support, we can give you some excellent referrals.
We are hoping to add this resource to our business in the future!

Therapy can be expensive. If your budget is tight, please consider student-led therapy sessions that are offered at a deeply discounted rate of $40/session.
Doctorate-level psychiatry students are under direct supervision and provided with high quality clinical guidance from other fully-licensed providers so your care is never compromised.

Most clients benefit from attending therapy once a week, especially in the beginning. Meeting regularly helps us build momentum, establish trust, and begin to work through symptoms in a steady, supported way. As things stabilize, we may reduce the frequency of sessions—biweekly or monthly check-ins can be helpful for ongoing support and maintenance.
That said, your schedule, symptoms, and financial situation all matter. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that’s sustainable and supportive for you, and we can adjust as needed over time. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for your life.

The length of therapy is different for everyone. Some clients come in with a specific concern and feel ready to wrap up after a few months, while others choose to stay in therapy longer for ongoing support, deeper healing, or continued growth.
There’s no right or wrong timeline. We’ll revisit your goals regularly and talk openly about what’s working, what’s shifting, and whether it feels like the right time to pause, taper, or continue. You are never locked into a specific commitment—this is your space.
In our office, you are always welcome to ask all the questions you need. If you need more information to help make your decision, please reach out. We’re here to help.
